...Guidance on Use of Multi Mat
The Multimat (MM) is the only product authorised for use by Massereene Golf Club. Landing Zones (LZ) have been identified on all holes where use of (MM) will be necessary for play. These areas are marked by blue stakes and lines across Fairways and include two club lengths of each side of rough area. A ball coming to rest in these areas must be placed on the (MM) for play but, a player electing not to use the (MM) may take thier ball to either side of rough outside the (LZ) and play the ball from grass surface. Please replace divots. At the end of the (LZ) an area approzimately 25 yeards from each Green is available for play with or without use of (MM). The (MM) may be anchored using Tee Pegs but, your ball will not be pegged up. On Tee Boxes the (MM) is not required for use. Any player found in breach of Local Rule may find themselves subject to sanction.
